This page explains what happens when someone reports an Achievement Card and how Noteese handles safety review during beta.

Reports create a review record
Noteese stores report reason, card context, status, and admin action history.
A hidden card is not a final finding
Temporary hiding pauses access while Noteese reviews the concern.
Owners may be asked to correct
A card owner may revise and resubmit if changes are needed.
Reports can be dismissed
If a report does not require action, Noteese may dismiss or resolve it.
Report tools are for real privacy, impersonation, accuracy, safety, or inappropriate-content concerns. They should not be used to harass or silence another user.
1. When to report a card
Report a card if it appears false or misleading, exposes private information, impersonates someone, contains harmful or inappropriate content, involves a minor safety concern, or creates another real trust/safety issue.
2. What Noteese records
Noteese may record the report reason, optional note, report status, reported card, page URL, related achievement/card identifiers, timestamps, reviewed-by information, and admin action history so the report can be reviewed and audited.
3. Possible platform actions
During review, Noteese may keep the card published, request changes from the owner, temporarily hide the card, restore the card, resolve the report, dismiss the report, or restrict account behavior when necessary.
4. Temporary hiding
Temporarily hiding a card pauses public access while Noteese reviews the issue. It does not automatically mean the card owner did something wrong.
5. Owner corrections
If changes are requested, the card owner may revise and resubmit the achievement. Admin review is required before the card can return to Card Ready status.
6. Proof privacy during reports
Public viewers should not gain access to private proof files because of a report. Proof files remain admin-controlled unless the product later adds explicit owner-approved public proof features.
